Contact and corrections

The Area Code Lookup editorial team reviews every guide against NANPA numbering plans and public regulator announcements, but telephone numbering changes constantly — new overlays are activated, boundaries are redrawn, and ported numbers cross old borders.

If you spot an error — a wrong city, county, time zone, overlay code or in-service year — please tell us. Useful details include the area code, the fact you believe is wrong, and (if you have it) the source of the correct information, such as a NANPA filing or a regulator order.

What we can and cannot help with

We can help with questions about area codes, numbering plans, dialing formats and the guides on this site. We cannot identify the owner of a phone number, reverse-lookup callers, or investigate unwanted calls — those requests should go to your carrier or national regulator (the FTC and FCC in the United States, the CRTC in Canada).

Response expectations

Corrections are reviewed and applied in the next data pass. The "last updated" date on each guide always shows when its facts were last verified.
